Abstract: This paper presents an analytical model for studying the dynamics of wave generation and propagation in composite adhesive structures. The composite structures are modeled as shear-deformed beams and investigated using first-order shear deformation theory. The propagation properties of high-frequency waves are studied. Hamilton's principle is used to obtain the equations of wave motion in adhesive composites.
