Abstract

Description of experimental studies on the change of the strength and reliability properties of welded joints, which suffered to prolonged corrosion. To achieve this aim, the following problems were solved: the current state of the problem, existing theoretical and experimental research were analyzed; experimental research of samples was carried out to determine their physical and mechanical characteristics under the influence of various aggressive environments with a certain time interval of action; experimental research of laboratory samples was carried out to determine the ratio of the strength reserves of the elements welded to the welds themselves.
