Abstract

To account for the formation of cracks in reinforced concrete shells, an approach was used to draw up resolving equations in finite differences without using the procedure for differentiating stiffnesses. The resolving system of nonlinear equations is obtained automatically, and its accuracy is similar to the traditional use of the finite difference method.
